DSU Planetarium – Public Shows

 

 

Fall 2009/Spring 2010 Season

Public shows are presented every second or third Friday of the month beginning at 7:00 p.m. (see the schedule below). A public show runs about 1 hour and is prepared as a presentation of the main subject through oral introduction, animations, and movies. A Planetarium sky presentation is also included. All topics are prepared for both: adults and children, and all visitors are cordially invited.

          Comets: Where are they from?

 

September 11th 2009

          Plutoids (Dwarf Planets) – the new members of our           Solar System;

 

 October 9th 2009

          Meteoroids, Meteors, Meteorites;

 

The Nearest Expeditions:

November 13th 2009 (friday)

          Star Party;

Meeting : 9:00p.m. in the Planetarium

 

November 18th 2009 (wednesday)

          Meteor Shower Night;

Meeting : 9:00p.m. in the Planetarium

 

December 2009

          Christmas Show;

How to make a reservation?

               No reservation is required.

 

Planetarium fee:

               No fee.
